A Summer of Test Success and Awards for NFHPC Members
This summer has been a remarkable period of achievement for the members of our New Forest Hunts Pony Club.
On September 15th, four of our older members, Becca T, Sam M, Lottie UR, and Lucy HJ, took their C/C+ test. Despite the last-minute nature of the assessment, their dedication to the monthly test training sessions at Walhampton, along with some extra guidance on the day from Sam’s sister Tori (who is involved in the PC coaching steps programme) and a quick brush up and revision session to bring them up to speed, ensured their success. Special thanks goes to Amy and the Hursley Pony Club for running the test and accommodating our members for the tests.
Earlier, in August, three of our senior members showcased their skills at the Area 14 B test. Charlotte N passed both riding and care components, while Erin D and Eloise BK excelled in the riding section. Their commitment to training and improving their knowledge, horse care and horsemanship skills is truly inspirational for our younger members.
In May, an impressive turnout of our members passed their D, D+, and C tests at Walhampton School, achieving a 100% pass rate.
Congratulations to Harry F, Miri H (D test), George S, Alice F, Bella K, Emilia S (D+ test), and Annabelle HJ, Emie M, Georgia Rose J, Sam M, Zac Dodder, Liv C, Flo EH, and Lottie T (C test).
A heartfelt thank you to all the parents and family members for their unwavering support and to our exceptional team of instructors for their dedication. We are incredibly grateful to Walhampton School for providing such outstanding facilities for our training and assessments.
Our members and supporters have expressed their gratitude and congratulations to all.
Helen Dovey shared, “A big thank you goes to the NFHC for giving these members the opportunity. Especially, Sue Stevenson who puts so much time and effort into preparing for these days. Your passion is inspiring.”
Nichola Nelson echoed this sentiment, saying, “A big thank you to the pony club and Sue Stevenson for all her help and support. It is very much appreciated.”
Hazel El Hakim praised the achievements as “Brilliant, well done, girls. A really good level to get to.”
Juliet Wheeler highlighted the collaborative effort, saying, “Super well done to everyone on their test achievements. You have clearly all worked hard. Thank you also to Sue Stevenson and her team of coaches for all their diligence, care, and attention. And a big shout out to Walhampton School for providing the New Forest Hunts Pony Club with such wonderful facilities. A great team effort!”
Walhampton School also kindly commended the pony club, “We loved having the New Forest Hunts Pony Club to visit and congratulations to everyone for passing their tests. Fantastic effort!”
Congratulations once again to all our dedicated members and thank you to everyone who contributed to making these achievements possible.
