Fun in the Sun at our Easter Eventing Camp!

Easter Eventing Camp at Tweseldown

This April, our eventing-mad members enjoyed a fantastic 2-day Easter Eventing Camp at Tweseldown, packed with fun, learning, and plenty of sunshine.

It was wonderful to see so many of our members out, making the most of the surprisingly fine weather, with their ponies and horses practising their skills across all three phases of eventing.

The highlight of the camp was an amazing opportunity to learn from Kirsty Chabert of Team Opposition. Kirsty, with her wealth of experience and expertise, gave an enlightening talk, putting a spotlight on Ines who rode a brilliant demo on Ed, to show us the critical aspects of rider balance and fitness.

It was great to see our young riders absorbing the information and then applying it practically out on the cross-country course the next day.

We extend huge thanks to Kirsty Chabert, for her contribution to the event.

Our Easter Eventing Camp could not have been such a resounding success without the tremendous planning, delicious food, and organisation by Ines and Sue M, and our fantastic coaches – Hazel El Hakim, Becky Tooley, and Ines Mitchell – and the support from everyone involved. And thank you to Tweseldown for hosting us at your superb equestrian training facility.

Thank you to each and everyone who played a part in bringing this event together. Events like our Easter Eventing Camp underscore the essence of our Pony Club – camaraderie, learning, and a shared love for equestrian sports. We look forward to many more events like this that bring us together.

Here’s to many more days filled with fun, learning, sunshine, and lots of pony love!
