Daily Highlights:
- Day 1: The sun finally shone as members settled in for the night. The promise of a fun week ahead.
- Day 2: A sunny and successful day, with brave cross-country riding and an energetic rounders game. Special thanks to helpers Louise and Shoonah for their support and capturing the day’s memorable moments.
- Day 3: Marked by birthday celebrations, the day featured fun canter speed sessions, pairs dressage, and a fun slip and slide activity, ensuring both ponies and riders were bathed to some extent! A big thank you to the helping parents for their contributions.
- Day 4: Members explored the digestive system through interactive learning, honed their show jumping skills, and enjoyed more cross-country training. The day concluded with a rather wet but fun-packed Olympic Games. Thanks to Sam and Kate for all their help today.
- Day 5: The final day wrapped up an incredible week with huge thanks to everyone involved. Riders, ponies, instructors, the “B test” team – who excelled at their master of horse roles – and the dedicated team of mums. Their combined efforts ensured a camp full of learning and fun, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating next year’s camp! Thanks to Sam C for all the photos of the day.
Louise Munro, shared her thoughts, saying, “What a varied and informative agenda at PC camp these days as well as all the fun…..still some of my favourite childhood memories made possible by generous individuals giving up a huge amount of their time.”
Thank you to everyone who came and supported, and made it a great success.
