Reasonable Adjustments

As a branch we are committed to ensuring all our members get to enjoy and learn with their peers. In November 2025 we appointed a committee member to ensure this.

Jess Powell’s role is to support all members of the Branch to have reasonable adjustments and strategies in place. We hope that this will enhance members ability to thrive at Pony Club and enjoy Pony Club with their peers.

Her eldest daughter is visually impaired has cerebral palsy and additional learning needs. Reasonable adjustments that the Branch, Area 9 & PCHQ have put in place, allow her to not just love Pony Club but thrive and progress.

As a branch we want  to ensure this is the case for all our members.

All members should have received a form for the purposes of and health & safety and learning. Please complete and return to Jess with any adjustments needed, from pictures or different coloured arena letters, to allowing children to answer before repeating a question.

As a doctor she knows the importance of confidentiality and we assure you that no member will have their information shared with people who don’t need to know. It’s about allowing all members to access and succeed in the activities they want to participate in.

Reasonable adjustments allowed one of our members to represent the Branch at the JCB Pony Club National Championships in 2025. Her story made National Pony Club News
