CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024
OBH North branch actively compete in the following disciplines:
Show jumping, Dressage, Eventing, Tetrathlon & Mounted Games
Championships and Qualifying competitions
There are 3 Championships depending on your level that you can qualify for over the Summer/Autumn:
The JCB Pony Club National Championships
The Eastern Regional Championships
The ‘Area 12’ Championships
Selection for the Summer National & Regional Competitions will be made by the team Managers, the Coach and the Chief Instructor. You will be notified in advance and we will support you with the relevant training needed. We run a long list and confirm the team /s at least four weeks in advance of the competition.
Members who would like to be considered as a team member for the competitions must;
Selection for teams is based on both experience, competition results and attending training at appropriate training sessions. For some levels members will be expected to have previous competition experience.
* In the event that a member has a reasonable justification for not achieving the 3 rallies, they may be permitted into a team but only in the event that all those with their 3 rally count have been offered places first. Camp counts as 1 rally
There are two rounds within the Summer series – qualifying competitions must be within Area 12. Please see link for more information
Spring Festival & Qualifiers
Over the winter, qualifying competitions are held in the area for Arena Eventing (PC70-100), Dressage (Novice, Intermediate and Open) and Show Jumping (80, 90,100 and 110)
We encourage members to take part in team competitions whatever their level. Members wanting to represent OBH North in any competition should demonstrate an interest and commitment to the branch.
