Southwell Ploughing Match

Yesterday we had 7 mounted games riders attend the Southwell Ploughing match pairs competition hosted by the Rufford pony club. First up were our senior pairs: Hares – Holly & Darcy Crosses – Jacob & Ayla And Eloise who rode as a mixed Bramham pair. All 5 riders and ponies showed great speed, accuracy and team work. After some fantastic racing it was Holly & Darcy who won the senior competition, bringing home a lovely sash and prizes – well done girls 🎉 Next to ride was our only Junior pair Ellie & Olliarnah. They showed determination, great team work and focus. After some brilliant text book racing, where they kept their cool, they too brought home the win for Rockwood also winning their first sashes – how exciting 🏆 Every single rider should be very proud of how they performed both on and off the competition field – team spirit isn’t just in the racing!
