Fair Oakes Farm
Tuesday 27th May
Approx 10-4pm
The day will consist of two lessons, a flat/polework lesson with Becky Cooper Equestrian followed by a XC lesson with Sue Chadwick.
We will also have a badge or activity at lunch time, to be confirmed.
The day will be suitable for all, fences from 40cm to 90cm including a water complex.
Our policy is to provide training at cost which we always endeavour to do.
To achieve this I need an idea of numbers attending before I put the booking link on, therefore could you please comment on the FB post to register attendance and if you do not have access to FB please message me.

This year we are inviting members who would like to have a go – to represent our branch at the area dressage competition to come along for some pre-competition training.
The competition itself will be on 29th June at Allerton Park, Knaresborough, N York’s
There will be tests for all abilities from simple tests with basic patterns and movements to the more complicated tests for our more experienced riders.
If you think you would like to take part, your not sure what it entails or wether it’s something for you please send me a message and I will get in touch. It’s a great way to improve your riding skills with a goal in mind and a chance to go to the championships which is a fabulous experience

Tetrathlon News:

We have an exciting opportunity to train as a branch for Tetrathlon & Winter Triathlon:
Tetrathlon is a team and individual competition comprised of Shooting, Swimming, Running and Riding.
Competition levels progress with age. The shoot involves shooting with air pistols at targets, swimming a distance, the run is normally cross country and the ride is over a cross country course.
Classes are arranged as follows: Open (25 and Under) Intermediate (25 and Under) Junior (14 and Under) Minimus (11 and Under) Tadpoles (9 and Under)
We will start shoot training with Justin Dunn
Tuesday 29th April 6pm-7pm
Tuesday 6th May 6pm-7pm
Hunting Gate House, Furnace Grange Farm, Flockton WF4 4AQ (all equipment provided)
£6/child 7 years+ with pistols
under 7 years bean bags.
Sunday 25th & Monday 26th May Area 3 Tetrathlon friendly competition Swim, Shoot & Run at Catterick Leisure centre, Ride at Northallerton Equestrian centre.
This is a friendly, fun competition open to ridden and non ridden members, not all 4 parts need to be completed.
Winter Triathlon
The Winter Triathlon consists of the running, shooting and swimming phases of Tetrathlon. There are 3 levels of competition which are: Minimus for the 8-11 year olds, Junior for the 14 and under and Open for all members 25 and under. Each level is split into a boys and a girls competition.
