What do we do when it rains?

On the first wet Thursday in a long time – South Notts did some theory!  Although badges are the backbone of the Pony Club syllabus every now and then we run a session that is all about revision.  Some members were preparing for a proficiency test – these tests are examined by external assessors and are quite formal.   Others were working through the Progression Awards – these help monitor progress towards the next test.

30 of our members worked together to improve their knowledge of horse and pony care, a good use of a rainy morning, and they also learned how to put long hair into a bun, Pony Club style!  Watch below to learn how to do it, all the equipment is available from “posh shops” as explained in the video, or you could use a well known online retailer.
