The South Pool Pony Club was established in 1963, we are a small friendly club located in the beautiful South Hams in Devon and are part of the Pony Club area 16. Members are welcome from the age of 4-25, who participate in a variety of activities, from Rallies, Competitions, Tests and Camp.
We offer a wide range of activities throughout the year giving our members lots of opportunities to have fun and make lifelong friendships whilst enjoying time with their horses and ponies through rallies, training days, beach rides, camps & competitions. Training is at the heart of The Pony Club, providing opportunities to build knowledge on improving equine welfare, rider safety and enabling members to develop lifelong skills, alongside riding and having fun!
The club have a fantastic Cross Country Course and Grass Arena at Cuttery near Kingsbridge which is used in the dryer months for training and competitions. In the winter months we have access to large all weather outdoor and indoor schools for our training sessions. We also organise training sessions at event centres including Bicton and Pontispool.
There are lots of opportunities to join our teams, who compete successfully in Show Jumping, Eventing, Dressage, Mounted Games & Tetrathlon.
