South Wold Hunt (North) branch of the Pony Club was founded in 1952 and is one of 19 branches in Area 6. There are also 27 centres based at riding schools. We cover a large geographical area from Grimsby in the North to Boston in the South, Mablethorpe in the east and Horncastle in the West.

Our main base for rallies, training, the popular annual camp is in the centre of our area at Lincolnshire Rural Activities Centre (LRAC), Louth, LN11 8NR. What3Words ///narrates.emperor.tenses

We also make use of a variety of local venues for training such as Willow Banks & Winters XC.

What To Wear

 

Dress and saddlery rules are based on safety & welfare. It is important to refer to individual rule books when competing. These can be found in the Useful Information page.

For general rallies & training:
  • Tagged (pink) hat or jockey skull cap with cover
  • Body protector 2018 tag for xc
  • Jodhpurs, shirt and Pony Club tie
  • Branch T-Shirt, sweat shirt (no hoodies)
  • Jodhpur boots/long boots
  • Gloves
  • Hair secured above collar
