The Pony Club has been the starting point for a large majority of equestrian team members, equine professionals, and medal winners. Training is at the heart of The Pony Club, providing opportunities to build knowledge on improving equine welfare, rider safety and enabling Members to develop lifelong skills, alongside riding, and having fun!

We are a small friendly branch of the Pony club based in Mid Wales. We cover a large area of area 18: Tregaron, Llanrhsytud, Aberaeron, Llandysul, Pencader, Pumpsaint, Lampeter and everwhere in between!
Who can join?
Pony club Membership is open to anyone up to the age of 25. Members should have access to a horse or pony, by ownership, or loan, and have the means to transport the horse or pony to and from rallies and events.

Learning & Tests
Our members are encouraged to take an interest in their work and improve their knowledge by working towards their Pony club Standards of Efficiency tests, of which there are 8, beginning with the E test and culminating in the prestigious ‘A’ test. there is also an opportunity to work towards Road safety, Achievement badges, Progressive tests and Coaching certificate. Pony Club tests provide an excellent grounding for thoe wanting to take up a career in Equestrianism
