Camps

For many of our members, Pony Club camp is the highlight of their summer holidays. It’s a chance to have fun with your pony, improve your riding, learn more about pony care and spend time with friends, old and new.
For parents, it is also a chance to get involved and spend a day or two with some of the other Vine PC parents.

With the exception of the instructors, all of the camp helpers are volunteers. Parents play a vital role in the smooth running of camp, whether it is by cooking endless cakes, supervising evening activities, assisting one of the instructors or helping setting up, or taking down camp

In 2023 once again, we ran three camps. Boomerang camp which catered our senior riders, Bucklebury camp which catered for our junior members, and the Vine Minis were very fortunate to have a super camp at Adbury Park, by very kind permission of the Skipworth family. As ever, all camps included lots of riding, games, friends and of course cake!

Wonderful memories are created at camp and pictures taken by parents are always welcome for our gallery.

Dates for 2024 camps are:

29th July-1st August – Junior Camp (8-13) at Bucklebury Equestrian

6th-8th August – Mini Camp (under 8s) at Adbury Park,
by kind permission of the Skipworth family

18th/19th-20th/21st August – Senior Camp (13+) at Tweseldown (exact date TBC)

21st/22nd-23th/24th August – Senior Plus Camp at Tweseldown (exact date TBC)

If you are unsure which camp would suit your child please do ask us.
All children wanting to attend camp must have completed at least two rallies during 2024 on the pony they plan to bring to camp.
