Alyssa Yallop is an International event rider, competed to 4*, 1m30 show jumping and advanced medium dressage. She has produced horses from 4yo to international level in all phases. Also a work rider for Archie Watson Racing. Passionate about teaching. Has clients ranging from beginners to national level riders.
Georgia Bartlett is a former Vine Pony Club member. She started her eventing journey early representing the Vine branch at National competitions including winning the Pony Club Eventing Championships PC100 in 2015.
Georgia competed successfully on ponies through BE100 and Pony Trials. In 2016 Georgia found Spano de Nazca (Nono), a 15.3hh gelding that has taken her from BE100 to 5*. In 2018 they were selected to represent Team GB at the Junior European Championships at Fontainebleau where they won Team Silver and was placed 11th individually. She regularly competes nationally and internationally with a string of horses from youngsters to Advanced horses.
Georgia is part of the BE Talent Pathways Tier 1 program as well as the Performance Mentoring Programme set up by leading event coach Caroline Moore.
Leanne White started at Kingsclere after finishing school and was apprentice jockey to trainer Ian Balding. She rode 7 winners, the last of which was Ian’s last winner as a trainer. In 2003 Leanne started doing the travelling for Andrew Balding and has travelled horses both in the UK and around the world. Among others she travelled Group 1 winners Side Glance and Blond Me. The former racehorse Sidey now lives with Leanne and is equine ambassador for Ascot racecourse.
The year after Sidey won the G1 Mackinnon on Derby day in Melbourne, she was awarded the Godolphin Stud & Stable Staff Employee of the year award 2014.
For the last 2 years Leanne has been a roving tutor for the National Horseracing College. During this time she has become a Level racing coach. Coaching for the Regional Staff Development Programme, Andrew Balding’s young riders and coaching racing rallies for the Vine and South Berks branches of the Pony Club.
When not working, coaching, horsing around or running after her stepchildren, she is usually found running after her Cypriot rescue hound or icing a cake!
Mark Corbett has more than 30 years’ eventing experience at international level from 1* to 4*. He now concentrates on coaching, holding a Level 3 UK Coaching Certificate as well as still riding a small string of horses to 3* level.
Many of Mark’s clients can be found eventing at all levels internationally and nationally, both amateur and professional.
Mark has been team coach to the South East U18 (formerly JRN) squad for many years, training winning teams over the years, and also enjoys coaching our members of Vine Hunt Pony Club.
Michelle Woolmer is a BHS accredited level 4 senior coach who has many years experience of showjumping/eventing and coaches jumping rallies from x-poles upwards. Michelle supports our Grassroots teams with team training and support at competitions, and also teaches at mini, junior and senior camps. Michelle provides an encouraging, safe and friendly environment for the children to learn.She enjoys producing young horses for clients and going eventing with her daughter.
Michelle coaches all disciplines and levels and loves seeing her clients progress and grow in confidence.
Rob Trobridge is a UKCC Level 2 coach, who has ridden up to GP. He has worked for some of the top riders in the country including a senior team member. Also regularly competes a wide range of horses. His clients are competing from all Pony Club levels and intro to PSG, as well as internationally in Para Dressage. Rob is also a popular instructor at all our camps mini, junior and senior.
Sharon Quant is a UKCC Level 3 British showjumping coach and is based at April Farm in Headley. April Farm has a superb 60 x 50 outdoor sand and fibre arena and offers a full BS standard course of fences . Sharon has many years of experience jumping for many years producing young showjumping horses through to Grade A’s . Sharon is the lead coach for Berkshire and Oxfordshire junior BS riders and thoroughly enjoys coaching the Vine pony club . Sharon trains both showjumping and event riders. Having taken a back seat from riding, for now to have her family, she’s hugely committed to her coaching and continues to build her training center at April Farm.
Sophie Altmann is a UKCC Coach & BD Trainee Judge with a passion for producing young horses as well as coaching all levels of riders across multiple disciplines.
Sophie was a Pony Club member for over 15 years competing at senior opens across disciplines, as well as a number of National Tetrathlon Championships and achieved 3rd National Modern Pentathlon Champion.
She’ve worked in racing and dressage yards in addition to being a Hartpury University honours degree graduate.
She is a multi-discipline rider with my current small string of horses that I compete in Advanced Dressage, Showjumping, Eventing and Team Chasing.
Will Furlong started Eventing through the East Sussex branch of the Pony Club, before rising through the ranks, winning Individual Bronze at the 2013 Junior European Championships. He went on to win the National U21 Championships in both 2014 and 2016, and also won double Gold at the Young Rider Europeans in 2015.
He was then later crowned U25 National Champion in 2017 on Collien P 2, whom he then went on to be best U25 rider at Badminton in 2018 and successful completions at both Badminton and Burghley in 2019.
