Triathlon Success

Our members showed their grit and determination at Beaufort Hunt Pony Club’s Triathlon on the 8th February at Malmsbury, Wiltshire.

Our beanies team of Fearn, Ivy and Hugh all scored highly in the beanbags phase, motored through the mud run where Fearn even lost a shoe and carried on without it and swam their best swims which set them up strongly for 13th place out of 17 teams.

Hugh was 2nd individually in the baby beanies class and winning the throw.

Our tadpoles Freya and Emily joined 2 girls from Tedworth to be placed 7th out of 10 teams. Their 1000m run was very tough in the conditions and the swim was very soon after testing their recovery rates to the max.

Superstar mini Triathlete Theo was placed individually 6th out of 17 boys with a strong performance being placed 3rd in the swim.

Edward and his mixed branch team won the junior boys and he finished 2nd individually and won the swim. Edward qualified for the winter championships in March
