Area and Pony Club National Championships

In addition to the minimum rally attendance requirement, there are the following discipline specific competition requirements for those competitions where you are qualifying for Pony Club National Championships.

Eventing – PC90, PC100 and Chairmans Cup

2 ODEs completed
On the rider/pony combination
From the current season
At the height applied for or above
Arena Eventing and Hunter Trials do not count

Dressage – Novice, Intermediate, Open

2 completed dressage competitions
From the current season
On the rider/pony combination
At the applied level or equivalent
One may be:
- An online competition, or
- A dressage test completed at an ODE

Showjumping – PC90, PC100, PC110

2 showjumping competitions
From the current season
On the rider/pony combination
At the height applied for or above
One round may be completed as part of an ODE

Mounted Games – Junior and Senior

3 WHPC Mounted Games training sessions
- Must be on the rider/pony combination
- From 1st January of the current season
Must have competed in at least one friendly Mounted Games competition with WHPC.
- Pairs competitions may count

Tetrathlon – Junior, Intermediate and Open

2 competitions completed from:
- Hunter Trials
- ODEs
- Tetrathlon competitions
From the current season
On the rider/pony combination
Plus:
- Attendance at a minimum of 1 shooting practice

Horsemanship – Quiz & Horse and Pony Care

Eligible members must:

Attend specific training, or
Attend at least 2 HPC sessions with WHPC, or
Be actively working through:
- Progressive Paths
- Efficiency Tests

Pony Club Regional Championships

One round may be completed as part of an ODE

Dressage – Prelim PC70 and Grassroots PC80

No compulsory competition requirement
Competition experience is strongly advised and assists with selection
