By the above dates for submission of Form B, as a combination you will need to have the following requirements in order to represent the branch:

- Meet the WHPC MERs – this includes being available to attend the Championship for which the Area/Regional team is a qualifier (see dates above)
- Attended a minimum of three ridden working rallies since 1 September 2023 with Camp 2023 counting as one rally
- Demonstrate that you are capable of competing at the height/level you have requested (preferably one height/level above for Show Jumping) via your competition record
WHPC MERs
Combinations must have an up-to-date record of completing (ie not being eliminated) at the height/level for which they are applying. This is to ensure that we meet guidance from our PC Area rep:
- Dressage – completed a minimum of 1 competition
- Eventing – completed a minimum of 2 competitions
- Show Jumping – completed a minimum of 3 competitions including at least 1 on grass (the SJ phase on grass of a One Day Event will be accepted)
PLEASE NOTE CLASH OF DATES:
If you are planning on competing at the Junior British Showjumping Academy Championships to be held at Stoneleigh on 13 & 14 August, these dates clash with some of the Area Championships dates at Offchurch Bury. If you have applied for a team that will be affected by these, please email Caroline Bowers to withdraw your application to represent the branch.
WEATHER!
We are aware that some ODEs are being cancelled as a result of the ridiculous rainfall but suggest that you look for alternative competitions to enter in order to obtain your MERs. For Eventing, results from Hunter Trials/Arena Eventing on grass will be taken into consideration but you will still need to have completed at least one ODE at the height you are applying for.
