Spring Festival Round Up
A huge well done to the 6 combinations who made the long trip to Arena UK to represent us at the Pony Club Barrier Health Spring Festival Championships. The event was incredibly well run by the entire PC team. Many thanks from us all at Wylye Valley.
Dressage Results:
Millie followed up her win on Bueno at the PC Open Dressage Championships last summer to do the same this weekend. A huge well done to Millie for winning what was a highly competitive class.
Isabel did a brilliant test in the PC Grassroots Championships, only her 3rd time competing on her lovely horse Prince. A fantastic experience for them both being their first championship event together.
Our final dressage rider was Mae who took part in her first Intermediate Championship. Mae did a fabulous test to finish in 9th place.
Showjumping Results:
Archie & Lola were in the PC 80 Championship class which had over 100 entries! Archie rode a lovely round on Sylvia, they had a very unfortunate 4 faults but rode with great style as always. Lola rode a brilliant clear on Belle in their first round securing a spot in the jump off, along with 45 others! Lola rode the jump off with great control and composure finishing with a double clear and in 8th place.
Izzy and Mae were in the PC 90 Championship which also had almost 100 entries! Mae and Sweet Riot rode a great round just rolling a pole to finish on 4 faults. Izzy and Molly had a lovely clear in their first round securing them a spot in the jump off. They had an unlucky 4 faults in the jump off.
Finally, Mae rode her last class of the weekend, the PC 100 Championship, unfortunately rolling a couple of poles which kept them out of the jump off.
