Summer Camps 2026

Summer Camp 2026 – Reservations Invited

Based on positive feedback from last year, we’re continuing with the format of three camps
introduced in 2024. Details of all three camps are as follows:

1. Non-residential Mini Camp – Thursday 23rd – Sunday 26th July 2026 @ £140
• For younger or less experienced/less confident riders, typically attending Mini rallies.
• Parents bring child and pony in and out each day.
• Typically aimed at those under 9, but older members who are less confident are also
very welcome.
• Members can swim every day, with parental supervision.
• All tuition and activities included – morning and afternoon each day.
• Parents bring food, but children are invited for lunch on last day.

2. Residential Camp – arrive late afternoon of Monday 27th July – Friday 31st July 2026 @ £265
• For older or more confident riders (for those 9 years and over and attending Grassroots
or Novice Challenge rallies).
• Fully residential – riders stay in tents/lorries/caravans and ponies/horses are stabled,
with option for corralling.
• We can help with finding friends to camp with.
• Children need to be confident about staying away but are welcome to go home if
preferred, even for a night or two.
• Parents aren’t present.
• Full support is provided by instructors and Camp helpers.
• Includes all tuition, meals and evening entertainment.
3. Senior Residential Camp – afternoon of 31st July – 3rd August @ £215
(Open to school years 9 and above**)
• Fully residential – riders stay in tents/lorries/caravans and ponies/horses are stabled.
• We envisage the programme running as follows:
• Arrive Friday afternoon and settle horses
• Friday evening, dinner and optional swim.
• On Saturday, a day of tuition followed by an optional swim, and evening activity.
• On Sunday a day of tuition, optional swim and evening activity
• Monday AM – hack around Southfield, pack up and depart around lunchtime
• Ridden tuition will include flatwork, show jumping and cross country for which
you will have some option to pick your sessions.

We would now like to invite reservations for all Camps so that we can assess numbers and
how best to plan for a great two weeks. At this stage, we won’t be asking for a deposit but will
subsequently ask you to book via Entrymaster, with the option to pay for camps in instalments
to make it a bit easier for everyone to budget.

So, if your child would like to come to Camp this year, please can you complete this simple
Google form by following this link https://forms.gle/nvBvNxbFVMnbeuFB9 so that we can begin
to plan in earnest. Please do so by Friday 31st January.

Please note that all riders must attend a minimum of 3 rallies before Camp to be eligible to
attend. We’ll be running some general rallies before Camp and will also host a Camp meeting
just before to inform parents about what’s needed and how all camps will run.
