SW REGIONAL CHAMPS QUALIFIERS 2021
On Sunday we headed out in force to Motcombe for Area dressage. We had teams in all sections and had some great results across the board. I think it’s safe to say everyone enjoyed being back out as a team competing together.

Grassroots
Wylye Prancers-Daisy, Mollie, Lola & Emilia came away with Team 11th
Wylye Dancers-Angel, Katie, Poppy & Georgie got Team 7th
These are great results as the Grassroots is always the biggest section, 22 teams in total, and first time at Areas for most riders.
Big well done to Mollie who got Individual 2nd in her section, Poppy 3rd and Angel 6th. Fantastic riding!

Congratulations to Lauren who got individual 6th, all rode great tests and weren’t far from individual placings.

SW REGIONAL CHAMPS 2019

SW Regional Championships Dressage – Wylye Champions!

SW PC GrassRoots Championship Dressage, Freya (Custard), Gracie (Zeb), Lula (Bee) & Megan (Kash) rode with total concentration & poise to become WINNING REGIONAL SW TEAM DRESSAGE CHAMPIONS on Friday 30th August, 2019.

With four arenas: Lula led the way with a 72.71 (2nd place), then Gracie with a 68.33 (4th Place), Megan (6th Place) with a 67.08 & with Freya scoring 72.08 (1st Place) – They then held their breath to see how the other 122 competitors would get on as the competition unfolded. Fortunately no-one could match their results or even come close!

Lula & Freya made it into the ride off & individually kept their cool to come 3rd & 4th respectively – Massive Congratulations!

SASH-TASTIC!!!

Novice Challenge Dressage Results
After an amazing Friday at the South West Champs Fin, Emma and April had an early start to get ready for the dressage. With Roxy, Jay and Silver all clean and plaited the girls headed to the warm up. With a lot of horses warming up the nerves started to build and a couple of the ponies felt like they were ready to go show jumping again! All 3 girls did nice tests with Fin going into the lead, unfortunately with only one or 2 riders to go Fin was just knocked off the top spot to finish an amazing individual 2nd! The team competition was very tight with the Wylye team being placed 3rd. Karla March

AREA DRESSAGE Regional Qualifiers 2019

Area Dressage at all levels was kindly and ably hosted by the South and West Wilts PC at the Motcombe Showground on 23rd June 2019.

We were lucky enough to send three teams to compete in the Regional Qualifier level.  The Wylye gang did amazingly well with the following individual  placings:

Charlotte 1st , Tallula 2nd, Megan 4th, Freya 6th, Gracie 12th and Poppy 10th.
Our team of  Freya, Gracie, Tallula and Megan came team 3rd out of 23 teams!  Charlotte won her section and qualified as an individual against 20 others!  Wow!  Very well done and the very best of luck at the Regional Championships at Bicton in September.  A fantastic effort all round.  Very many thanks to Helen and Aimee and all our trainers over recent months.

It was also a fantastic day out for the WVPC Novice Challenge dressage riders with an individual win for Gemma, 2nd for Finlay, 4th for Lily, 5th for April and 8th for Jemima.  Gemma, Lily, April and Fin (above) nailed first team prize out of 18 others to qualify for the PC National Championships in August.  Well done everyone, you have worked really hard all winter to get to this point and we are very proud of you.
A huge thanks to our wonderful Team Trainer, Kim George, this one was for you Kim!  Masssive thanks also to managers Alice and Sian.

The Intermediate dressage team of 3 (Kate P, Jodie K and Georgia T-C) came team 8th with Kate P individual 10th.

Our Open dressage team of 3 (Megan B, Mia R and Katie D) came team 4th with all 3 members qualifying individually for Champs! Well done to all combinations who took part, it was tough judging on the day and all our competitors did a super job!  A huge thank you to Brigid Grant who was tirelessly helping all our combinations at the event.  Good Luck to the Open competitors at Champs and very many thanks to Sandra and Carol for all their hardwork throughout the year!
