Congratulations to Holly on passing her AH test. This is a massive achievement, requiring hard work and dedication. The club is very proud of you Holly.

Holly recently passed her AH test. She is a real team player and great pony club member. Well done.
While it has been great that some of our members have had success competing it is important to remember Pony Club is not all about competitions. The backbone of the Pony Club is based around rallies and having fun, while learning how to look after our four legged friend properly. The Branch had a brilliantly fun time at Red House School on Saturday with a rally which covered all these elements plus the added bonus of the children being able to cool off in the swimming pool.

Improving suppleness whilst having fun.
WEll DONE, to all our members who travelled to Eland Lodge, Derbyshire to take part in the Grassroots Regional Final. The club had placings in all three disciplines individually along with an eventing team 6th. Full details in members news.

Henry, Hugo and Hamish all enjoyed a recent trip to Catterick race course,on one of the Pony club Racing to School days, where they saw just what goes on behind the scenes on a race day. In their Mum’s words – It really was amazing. They got to dress in silks, then they went to the weighing room and got weighed , then saw horses arriving and get checked in and got to use scanner to check the chips. Then we got to go and see the starting stalls and use them , then walked on track and went to see fences , then back to see horses in paddocks and how to read race cards then watched races! And all for free!

The Scott boys, jockeys in the making.
