Thurs 17 Oct: Mounted Flatwork Rally (Laura) – Askham Bryan Equestrian Centre, YO23 3FR.
5.30pm start in staggered rides. Open to all. £16.50 charge. Names to Gill by 15 Oct.
Sun 20 Oct: Branch Pleasure Ride – Escrick Park. Details attached. Major fund raiser.
Sat 26 Oct: Area 3 Autumn Triathlon – Pocklington School. Details: www.horse-events.co.uk
Sun 27 Oct: Junior Series Show Jumping Final – Bishop Burton College. Details sent to qualifiers.

Wed 30 Oct: Mounted Hallowe’en Rally – Askham Bryan, YO23 3FR. 10.30am start in staggered rides depending on numbers. To include flat, jumping and Hallowe’en games. Open to all. £16.50 charge. Names to Gill by 28 Oct.
Thurs 31 Oct: Area 3 Senior Training with Heidi Woodhead – East Lilling Grange Farm, Sheriff Hutton, YO60 6RW. Cross Country/Arena Eventing (weather permitting). Groups of 2. £50 cost. Open to those jumping 90cms and above. To book: www.horse-events.co.uk (Pony Club Rallies)

Fri 1 Nov: Ride for members and accompanying adults. York Riding Club Field, Corban Lane, Wigginton, YO32 2RE for parking and refreshments at the end of the ride. 6 miles on bridle paths and tracks. Open to all. Small charge to cover refreshments. Names to Gill by 28 Oct.
Sat 2 Nov: Pentathlon and Pony Club Tetrathlon Training Day – St Peter’s School, Clifton Road, YO30 6AB. Swim, laser/pellet shoot, run, fence. £25 inc equipment payable on the day. Book by 28 October to yorkspentathlon@btinternet.com

Sun 17 Nov: Dismounted training for Spurs Award (Mike) – Prospect House, 52 The Old Village, Huntington, YO32 9RB. 2pm start. See earlier in Newsletter. Names to Gill by 14 Nov. Please bring any spurs you use. Priority to those already wearing spurs. This will be repeated on 25 Nov – no need to attend both.

C+ Test Training will start in January. Road Rider training and test will be held in May/June.
