Please clear up all droppings and rubbish from any venue (inside and outside) – some venues are private homes which people are kind enough to let us use. Please also remember that the Committee and DC are volunteers, so any help you can give is always welcome. We can always find you a job!

Fri 26 Sept: Show Jumping Training (Phil Brown) – Bishop Burton Equestrian Centre (Indoor School). 5.30pm start in groups – 80cm/90cm/1m and above, with priority to those already jumping 90cms and over. £38 charge. Names to Gill by 25th.

Sun 28 Sept: Branch Show Jumping Competition – Escrick Park. See earlier. N.B. Ages for Junior Series classes are the age you were on 1 January 2025 and not the age you are now!

Mon 29 Sept: General Rally (Mike) – Askham Bryan Equestrian Centre, YO23 3FR. 5.30pm start in staggered rides. Open to all where possible. £16.50 charge. Names to Gill by 26 Sept.

Fri 3 Oct: Dismounted ‘C+’ Care Training (Karen) – Hayton Grange, Bielby Lane, Hayton, YO42 1RW (by kind permission of the O’Gram Family). This is the first of a course of 6 @ one hour sessions in preparation for a ‘C+’ Care Test to be taken December/January (date tbc). Open to all who have passed the ‘C’ Test. Anyone wishing to take the test must also have passed the Road Rider Test.

Please let me know asap before 30 Sept if you wish to come to training as, if insufficient numbers, this cannot be run. Start time to be arranged when names in. If you have to miss a session, you can still sign up. Charge £10 per session.

Sun 5 Oct: Branch Pleasure Ride – Escrick Park and beyond – 12, 8 or 3 miles. See earlier and Schedule attached.

Wed 8 to Sun 12 Oct: HOYS – NEC Birmingham.

Thurs 9 Oct: Flatwork Rally (Laura) – Askham Bryan, YO23 3FR. 6pm start in staggered rides. Open to all. £16.50 charge. Names to Gill by 6 Oct.

Fri 10 Oct: ‘C+’ Care Training 2 – details as before. Please let Gill know asap if unable to attend.

Sat 18 Oct: Flatwork Rally (Laura) – Askham Bryan, YO23 3FR. Limited time slots (tbc) for YAS due to being part of a Day Clinic. £16.50 charge. Names to Gill by 14 Oct.

Thurs 23 Oct: General Rally (Mike) – Askham Bryan, YO23 3FR. 5.30pm start in staggered rides. Open to all where possible. £16.50 charge. Names to Gill by 21 Oct.

Sun 26 Oct: Junior Series Show Jumping Final. Bishop Burton College. Details to follow.

Thurs 30 Oct: Mounted Hallowe’en Rally – Askham Bryan, YO23 3FR. 10.30am start in staggered rides depending on numbers. Hallowe’en outfits welcome! Prizes for the best! SJ/Games/Badges to suit different abilities/Refreshments. Open to all. £20 charge. Names to Gill by 26 Oct.

Sat 7 Feb: PC Spring Festival Area 3 Dressage Competition – Askham Bryan. Run by YAS.

Sun 22 Feb: PC Area 3 Triathlon

Sat/Sun 28/29 March: Spring Festival National Final for Show Jumping, Arena Eventing, Dressage. Addington, Bucks. Open to qualifiers from Area 3 competitions. Details to follow.

Mon 4 May: Day Rally – Escrick Park

Thursday to Sunday 11 to 14 June: Bramham Horse Trials

Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri 14/15/16/17 July – Great Yorkshire Show

Three days in week commencing 20 July: Branch Mini-Camp for 11 years and under. TBC

Mon 27 July to Fri 31 July: Branch Senior Camp for 11 years and over. Askham Bryan. TBC.
