Hello and welcome

Belvoir Hunt Pony Club Mini and Autumn Hunter Trials

 Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September 2016

at South Lodge Ropsley, by kind permission of Mr and Mrs A Smith-Maxwell.

Entries are now for closed for Sunday and classes are full. There will be no entries on the day.

Entries will still be taken for Saturday’s classes on the day.

The times for the hunter trials this weekend have been posted on horse-events, we look forward to seeing you there :

Please remember this important information from the schedule:

XC course for Sunday is open for walking 2pm – 5pm Saturday, it will be locked outside these times, until Sunday.

Please do not bring any dogs at any time to the venue because of young stock there. Anyone with a dog will be asked to leave.

Please approach from Old Somerby / Ropsley Rd : Risewood Lane.

Area Show Jumping Report 2016

Intermediate team win and Novice team 2nd to qualify for PC Championships. Grassroots teams 3rd and 10th to qualify for Regional Championships at Eland Lodge. Open team 3rd – just missing out on qualification.

Hatty Coney and Lizzie Westropp qualify as individuals for the Intermediate Championships.

Well done to everyone who took part and represented the Belvoir Hunt PC so well.

 Area Dressage Report 2016

Good Luck to the Open Dressage Team who came 2nd at the Area Dressage competition, qualifying for the Championships on Saturday 20th August. Good Luck also to Alice Kilham who won her section at the Areas and qualified for the Intermediate Individual Championships

Good Luck to the Grassroots team of Hatty Towns, Tara Brown, Lilian Morris and Evie Lee who qualified for the Regional Championships at Eland Lodge.

Well done to all Belvoir Members who competed at the Areas, particularly those members who were placed.

Buckminster Park  – Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th July


A huge thank you to all the hundreds of volunteer stewards, writers, tack checkers, scorers, fence judges,

control and start teams, secretarial help and everyone else who contributed to our competition over the weekend.

We ran 350 horses, so we had a busy time, but a lot of fun and great performances. Thank You

Belvoir Team SJ and Hickstead  Qualifier, Tuesday 31st May

Well done to all Belvoir competitors. 90cm team of Lucy, Rhiona, Selena and Lena were placed 5th and Hickstead Qualifer team of Richard, Cally, Hannah and Lottie were placed 3rd and qualifed for Hickstead in August. For all results and placings click here
