The Belvoir Pony Club is a large, friendly and active branch covering much of the East Midlands across Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Rutland.
Hope Mussell age 19, at the Pony Club Championships 2025.
We have around 100 members aged 3 to 25, and there’s something here for every kind of rider. Through our rallies, events and competitions we introduce members to a huge range of equestrian sports, including Dressage, Show Jumping, Eventing, Polocrosse, Tetrathlon and Endurance.
Our training is organised by age group so everyone learns at the right level, and we’re lucky to work with some fantastic coaches who help our riders grow in confidence and get the very best out of their riding.
There’s far more to Pony Club than riding. Alongside our rallies we run stable management sessions, training for the Pony Club tests, and treasure hunts, and members can work towards their Pony Club badges while learning all about horse and pony care.
We also have a strong track record at regional Area (County) qualifiers and at National level each year, giving members who want to push themselves the experience of competing at a higher level.
And then there’s camp. Each summer we run a Pony Club camp at the fantastic Aylesford Equine, with groups for Mini (3–7), Junior (8–10), Senior (11–16) and 16+ members.
If this sounds like your sort of thing, we’d love to hear from you. Our Membership Secretary, Sam Salden, is happy to answer any questions and explain how to get involved.
