Mickie
DRESSAGE HORSE FOR SALE. 16.1hh 13 year old chestnut Irish Sports Horse gelding. Schooled, competed and placed at elementary level dressage and qualified for the southern unaffiliated championships at Hickstead but unfortunately didn’t attend. Knows flying changes, leg yield etc. Moves off the leg and snaffle mouthed, works in natural outline with 3 lovely uphill paces. Very easy to ride. Hunted with Hampshire Hunt a few times last season jumps anything and will go all day. Perfect to hack alone and in company will go first or last. 100% to catch, clip, shoe and in traffic. Not 100% to box/travel – loads every time but gets quite unnerved but he is getting better. Up to date with worming, vacs and back been checked. No vices. Lives in or out with both mares and geldings. He is very calm natured and tries hard at everything. Ridden by 14 year old girl so would be perfect teenager’s dressage horse or mother daughter share, also been handled and ridden in school by 9 year old. But he is not a beginner’s or novice’s horse as quite sensitive. Has done riding club, pony club, ode, SJ and xc. Haven’t had much time to ride him recently due to other commitments.
Price reflects lack of time and loading issue. Price including tack, rugs and month old Thorowgood saddle. £4750. Contact me Alderney on 07740194515 or alderney@hotmail.co.uk.

Very genuine child’s pony for sale.
At 12.2hh Rocky can turn his hoof to anything; he will jump up to 2′3″both show jumping and cross country, do a lovely dressage test, hack out alone or in company first or last and is safe in the heaviest of traffic. He is happy to be on or off the lead rein looking after the smallest of jockeys up-to the keenest of riders. He has represented the pony club at area games, attended loads of mini and junior rallies and is a very kind and safe ride for children. A lovely personality to have around, he loads and travels very well and will happily stand tied up all day. Rocky will live in or out and is great to handle, shoe etc. At only 17 he has many years left to give and bring on smaller riders.
Rocky is very sadly outgrown by our family and is ready to find a new one to bring a joy of independent riding too. Ref available from PC instructors for this super pony. Price includes leather tack and rugs. £2200 Please contact Jane Molton on 07816974766/TheMoltons@gmail.com for further information or to arrange a viewing.

14’2 Connemara Gelding, 6yrs old £7,500
Future eventing pony; great breeding, fabulous dressage and lovely jumping scope. Intelligent, easy manner – very endearing. Easy with everything: shoe/box/clip/traffic.
This is a sad sale due to rider’s school commitments. Phoenix was backed late so needs to continue building his confidence as he discovers new things. He’s done Senior Pony Camp, been taken round cross country often and hunted three times this past year. He’s done some Pony Club competitions and has
started to earn his rosettes. Having been professionally schooled for the last 18months, he is definitely very ready to begin a fantastic journey with a new jockey. Please ring Zoe on 07824366302

PERMANENT RETIREMENT HOME REQUIRED
Lovely old gentleman. ZIGGY aged 31 going on 13! 13.2hh New Forest.
Due to his field mate no longer living at home, I am looking for a loving PERMANENT retirement home for Ziggy. He has been the most wonderful companion pony for the last five years. He has the most affectionate nature, and so easy to please. Thrives on a day trip out and happy to just spend the day tied up to a trailer! He loves any attention.
He is only shod in front (due to laminitis in the past!), I have kept him fully inoculated so he can travel. His only issue is the laminitis. I have to be very careful of too much grass as well as frozen grass. If you could offer him a loving home with company. Please contact: Anna Kellock 07977 430475 or annakellock@gmail.com
