Pony For Loan
Saxon is a dark bay,14h, welsh section D, 14 years old gelding. He has been with us since he was 5 and has given 3 sisters years of fun. He is now outgrown but the girls will not sell him so we would like to find a rider for him or a loan home. He is very forward going and not a novice ride. He has competed for Quorn PC and Rearsby Lodge riding club at all disciplines. Been to junior and senior PC camp. Done his C+ test 3 times! Won schools team SJ at 80cm. Competed 4 times at Festival of hunting team relay, Peterborough. Qualified for BRC Festival of the Horse at Aston Le Walls in 3 weeks to do combined SJ/XC. Loves to hunt but can be very strong and likes to be at the front. Dressage is not his favourite thing but can do a nice test. Show jumps up to 90cm, happier at 80, and will jump anything out XC or hunting. Would ideally suit experienced small teenager or adult wanting to have fun, currently bring ridden by 16 year old who hasn’t got time to ride two!

Joey (Harwick View Pot Black) has taken my very nervous 10 year old to being a confident competent rider. 13yrs p/b welsh. He is an absolute delight to own, always in the ribbons, no vices and good to do in every way. Done pony club including team SJ and senior camp (Barlow PC) and is now a member of Quorn PC. He is successful at WHP, SJ, SHP, has hunted with Barlow and was very well behaved (was riders first time out). Done XC training and works beautifully on the flat. Excellent BSPS record with previous owner including Champ WHP at Barlow Show 2007. This pony would be amazing for someone who wants to do Nursery Stakes or 13hh WHP or show jumping. Only down side is he has had laminitis once so must go to a home who are knowledgable. We are not looking to sell Joey but would be very happy for him to go on loan to the right home, ideally to a family with other small children to grow into him (once you have him you wont want him to leave!!)
Fit and ready to go. Can be tried at Aylesford XC. Full wardrobe will come with him. Will require references.

A kind off lead rein pony for my 6 year old daughter.She is currently sharing her older sister’s 13hh mare,who is really too big for her,really she needs a pony between 11.2-12 hh,who is good on the road and in open spaces.She is just learning to canter and jump and is keen to join her sister at Pony Club,so a pony club veteran would be ideal,especially if the pony has previously hunted.
We aren’t worried about looks,breeding or age,just looking for a safe,been there done that sort who will build her confidence and show her the ropes.In return we can offer a loving home with another pony.We have sole use of a private yard with stabling and menage at home,and a family farm a mile away with lots of off road hacking,and are happy to be vetted by any prospective loaners.
