Autumn / Winter Training
Monthly training sessions will be held at Rodbaston Equestrian Centre throughout the autumn and winter.
To join the winter training, members should be working confidently in three forward paces and off the lead rein.
Sessions can be booked via the monthly rally programme.
Area Competitions
Each year, Area competitions are held as qualifiers for both the National Pony Club Championships and the Regional Pony Club Championships. Members may compete either individually or as part of a team.
Members wishing to compete at Area should contact Team Trainer, Sarah Markworth or Team Manager, Kate Burden.
To be considered for the Area Team, members are encouraged to:
Attend regular training sessions.
Be out competing at Prelim level or above.
Gain competition experience – unaffiliated dressage and Trailblazers are both acceptable. Our Branch also holds the Annual Equitation Cup, which is a great opportunity to gain experience and compete.
There are several local venues available, so members are encouraged to get out and compete!
