Welcome to Albrighton Hunt Pony Club

Our annual Parent’s meeting is on Wednesday 22nd May at Brewood Jubilee Hall – 6.30 for 7pm start – and we hope as many parents as possible are able to attend

A word about the way we run our branch.  There is a committee headed by DC, Rory Howard, who organise various activities throughout the year to try and cater for every member of the branch.  This is a difficult thing to achieve and we are always open to suggestions.

We offer instruction in a wide variety of activities: horse trials, show jumping, dressage, mounted games, polocrosse, tetrathlon, as well as general working rallies and of course help towards the various horsemanship tests.  We hold two residential camps each year, Senior camp for members aged 11 and upwards and Junior for members aged 10 and below (under 7’s attend on a day basis) and many varied competitions, all aimed at giving our members as much help and fun as possible.  Whether you wish to compete or just enjoy and get the best out of your pony, we hope being a member of our Branch will help you achieve this.

Apart from the summer, rallies are usually held on a surface to try and avoid having to cancel them if there is bad weather. In the winter months we try to keep rallies indoors to avoid the worst of the weather!

Do not forget if you have any queries please ring Rory on 07764 155603 or any other of the committee. All the committee are volunteers many of whom have day jobs as well as Pony Club, but they will always do their very best to help.
