Area Dressage Qualifiers

Albrighton fielded an impressive cohort at the Area Dressage this year. With several riders navigating brand-new partnerships, introducing young ponies, or boldly stepping up to higher classes, everyone gave it their all. The team spirit was unmatched, with members cheering each other on every step of the way.

Here is how the day unfolded:

PC70 Class
Our day kicked off with Kiera, Edward, Macy, Alex, and Erin taking to the arena.
–  Edward smashed his first-ever Area competition, riding a fantastic test and coming out with a huge smile.
–  Erin secured a brilliant 3rd place in her section.
–  Macy followed closely with a fantastic 6th place finish.
–  Combined with rock-solid performances from Alex and Kiera, the Albrighton squad finished 5th overall as a team, successfully qualifying for the Regional Championships!

PC80 Class
Albrighton brought serious strength in numbers here, fielding three full teams
in a highly competitive class:
– Albrighton Blues: Erin, Macy, Alex, and Elodie
– Albrighton Reds: Emelia, Scarlett, Sophie, and Olivia
– Albrighton Whites: Gillian, Kiera, Charlotte, and Lilly
Every single rider put in a solid performance. A special shout-out to Elodie, who placed 6th in her section, earning herself a well-deserved qualifying spot for the Regional Championships

Novice Class
This was a major step up in level for many of our riders, and they handled the pressure beautifully, producing good tests all round.
– Albrighton Yellow Team: Elodie Scotton, Olivia Gamble, Emelia Allen, and Charlotte Power.
– Albrighton Purple Team: Sophie Coupe, Elodie Scotton, Lilly Bhageerutty, and Scarlett Willmott.

Elodie had a great test, achieving 6th place and just missing out on a qualifying place this time around.
