Event Report – Area Horse and Pony Care Qualifier

On May 16th our members represented Albrighton Hunt at the Area Horse and Pony Care competition across both the Mini and Junior categories.

Mini Competition Results

The Albrighton All Stars, consisting of Phoebe Patterson-Cork, Avi Hughes, and Reuben Allen, finished in a commendable 4th place. Highlighting the team’s success, Phoebe Patterson-Cork won the award for Outstanding Individual within the mini division.

The Albrighton Achievers (Evie Allen, Harriet Jerram, and Violet Wiggin) also put in a solid performance, finishing in 7th place overall. This was a particularly notable achievement as all three team members were first-time competitors, and Violet is just 6 years old.

Junior Competition Results

In the Junior division, Albrighton entered two teams who were stepping up to new challenges.

The Albrighton Aces (Ruby Eglington, Emelia Allen, and Elizabeth Jerram) achieved a top-ten finish, placing 9th. This was a notable result as all three members were competing in horse and pony care for the very first time.

The Albrighton Appaloosas (Alexander Burden, Sebastian Hughes, and Kiera Binns) finished in 11th place. They were the youngest team in the category and were making their debut in the junior competition.
