Area 11 requires members of branches to have completed two rallies, qualifying coaching or training sessions as of the 01-01-26. One of these needs to be relevant for the discipline the member is wishing to compete in and they must be deemed capable by their DC. The DC has discretion if the member has been prevented from doing so by illness, absence from home, multiple horses or any other reason which in the opinion of the DC and Area Rep justifies absence.
In addition to demonstrating loyalty to the branch, the combination of horse and rider may also be required to prove their competence, safety, plus fitness of horse or pony, in the specific sport and level that the member wishes to participate at. If the member has multiple horses they wish to compete each combination must be seen at least once and it is at the DC’s discretion if another rally is required. If the member has C+ Test or above then the DC may reduce the requirement for 2 rallies as long as they are an active member of the branch.
For the purposes of this rule a rally, qualifying coaching or training session is one which is organised by a branch committee, the Area Rep, or by the training committee and must be a minimum of 1 hour in length. Each day of a Camp shall be counted as a separate rally, qualifying coaching, or training session.
