Detailed below are some useful contacts within Area 11. We are always delighted to chat and offer advice to anyone about Pony Club matters but you should remember that any decisions within individual branches will always remain the sole responsibility of the DC of that branch.
Area Representative:
Boot Camp and Area A test training organiser:
My name is Lena Pearson-Wood. As a child I was an active member of the Old Surrey and Burstow branch of the Pony Club. I achieved my A test at eighteen and did the PC courses to start instructing. I worked for a vet for 5 years then qualified as a physiotherapist and now do a mix of horses and humans. I am now trainer for the Romney Marsh and because we have a livery yard I organise a lot of the stable management training to which anyone is welcome.
Area Centre Co-ordinator:
My name is Sarah Glynn-Brooks and I am the Area 11 Centre Coordinator. My role is to ensure successful running of all Pony Centres within the area. I ran a busy Pony Club Centre in Kent for 6 Years alongside my job as a PE teacher. I have fond memories as a member of the Pony Club when I was a child and I have always been passionate about horses, competing in Showjumping, Eventing and ran a carriage driving business for 15 years.
