CAMP 2021

SENIOR Camp this year was held in the glorious setting of Brightling Park, we loved their traditional stables which were much appreciated during the traditional camp downpours.  Thanks to Pippa, Louise, Keely and Jess for organising a great time for us and to Zoe, Julie, Shane, Matt and Emma for some excellent teaching.  Our camp trophy winners were:

JUNIOR camp was once again hosted by Keely, we had a slightly delayed start due to flooding! but then a very exciting demo from a racing simulator team, followed by two days of riding with a vaulting demo from one of our talented members and a vet talk.  Thanks to everyone who made this happen this year. 

It’s not an AVHPC junior camp without have lots of rosettes and sashes for our most improved, best rider and individual cup winners who this year were:

MGWe had a lot of children at camp 40 junior members as well as 20 senior members helping out, plus lots of volunteers, it really was a full branch effort.

We started with 35 degrees and ended with sunshine but some heavy showers and 15 degrees in the middle.  A tremendous time had by all, our two troops and our senior seniors were kept busy with Jason Webb, Polocross, Dressage, Show Jumping, Technical Cross Country, Tack and Turnout, Stable Management and various evening games and entertainments as well as being well fed and watered by our lovely team.  Thanks once again to our Top Host and her family.

CAMP 2017

An amazing 10 days with Senior Camp in Benenden thanks to our very kind hosts the Pearse family, followed by Junior Camp 2 days later at Lower Brenchley Farm, thanks to Keely.

Huge thanks to all who made senior camp a success especially Pippa, Jess, Nicky, Nicky and Catherine and our lovely instructors Zoe, Tamara, Harriet and of course Chief Keely.

It was a very special junior camp, thanks to all who made it happen including Pippa, Nicky, Jedda, Louisa, our lovely instructors Zoe, Julie, Tamara, Harriet aka Cruella, Shane aka Puss and of course the talented, magical Keely who bought everything together and worked tirelessly for days/weeks beforehand.
