The JCB Pony Club Championships

Congratulations to all our members who qualified and competed at the Pony Club National Championships 2025.

First to compete were Chloe Benfield (Wytchwood Desert Prince), Amelia Bennett (The Irish Lass) in the PC90 Show Jumping.  Both jumped superb clear first rounds and just a pole in the second.  Part of the Area 6 Pink Team, they finished 28th out of 69 teams.

The dressage then took place, with Olivia Mawditt (Calle Langben) producing an excellent score of 71.17% in the Intermediate, despite joint scores with 2 other riders, was just out the placings in 12th. Cordelia White and Tynan Coolley were just out of the placings in the Novice and Intermediate Dressage.  However, Cordelia and Hakuna Matata VDZ produced a good score to be placed idividual 4th in their section of the Open Dressage and to be part of the 9th placed Area 6 team with Ben Finney on Gaucho.

Ben, also competed in the PC110 Show Jumping Championships, with a lovely clear in the first round and just a pole in the 2nd to finish 13th out of 71 competitors.  Once again, Ben was rewarded for his horsemanship (4th).

Our PC90 Eventing Team of Chloe Benfield (Wytchwood Desert Prince), Amelia Bennett (The Irish Lass), Grace Hodgkinson (Cloughbawn Blaze), Lucy Robertson (IPW Diamond Fever), all completed, with Amelia & Nessie producing a lovely clear XC.
