Blankney members have excelled themselves to bring home some fantastic results this summer! Firstly the results from the Pony Club National Championships.
First to compete were the Intermediate Dressage Team who finished 6th out of 39 teams!

Hollie McDonnell (Shirsheen Shelby) placed 9th individually
Cordelia White (Hakuna Matata VDZ) placed 10th individually
Imogen-Grace Joynes (Aliss Beccini) competed in the PC100 Show Jumping, riding well over a very testing 2nd round of jumps.
The Chairman’s Cup
The EQUIDRY Chairmans Cup offers Pony Club Eventing experience to our Members. This format includes a Trot Up prior to the Dressage Phase, followed by the Cross Country and finally on the last day Show Jumping in reverse order.
Both Hollie McDonnell (Shirsheen Shelby) and Ben Finney (Lougnatousa Samson) were clear around the challenging XC course. Hollie finished 15th out of 66 competitors; Ben was placed 7th and was one of only three competitors who achieved a double clear finishing on their dressage score and was presented with a coveted ‘Craddock rosette’.
In addition, Ben was also awarded 2nd place in the Horsemanship Award, awarded to those riders who show ability, talent and effectiveness during the cross country and showjumping phases.
