Meet our Member – Chloe

This week we’re introducing Chloe, who has been a Pony Club member for 8 years!

Chloe’s love of horses began at just 9 years old. Coming from a non-horsey family, she started riding at a local riding school before joining a Pony Club Centre, where she made friends and developed her confidence both in and out of the saddle.

At 13, Chloe got her first horse and joined a Pony Club branch. Travelling to rallies was a steep learning curve for both Chloe and her mum, but one they say was absolutely worth it. Along the way, they’ve met so many wonderful people who have shared their knowledge, encouragement and friendship.

Today, Chloe is lucky enough to have four horses at home, each with their own unique personality—from a retired horse enjoying life in the field, to a nervous mare who’s growing in confidence, and an over-enthusiastic youngster who certainly keeps her busy! Her little herd holds a very special place in her heart.

Chloe loves everything Pony Club has to offer, especially rallies, competitions, musical ride, show jumping, summer camp and making new friends. She says all the experiences and opportunities Pony Club has given her have helped prepare her for the horse-filled future she dreams of.

Chloe’s advice for anyone thinking about joining Pony Club?

“If you’re thinking about it, just go for it. There is something for everyone in Pony Club, and there are so many people who are eager to help you find your place in the community.”
