2023 National Champions – 1st Place
The Burton are the current National Musical Ride Champions, having won the 2023 competition with their ‘Shrek’ performance.
The Musical Ride is a themed, choreographed routine to music, ridden in costume. It’s a true team event involving between 6 and 12 riders.
The Musical Ride Competition is held at the Pony Club National Championships each August, although during covid it took place online.
The Burton have previously done a ‘Disney through the ages’ routine and our Elton John themed ‘Rocket Man’.
The musical ride is great fun, we train throughout the summer to produce our routine.
