2023 National Champions – 1st Place
The Burton are the current National Musical Ride Champions, having won the 2025 competition with their ‘Robin Hood’ performance.
Also winning in 2023 with the ‘Shrek’ performance.
The Musical Ride is a themed, choreographed routine to music, ridden in costume. It’s a true team event involving between 6 and 12 riders.
The Musical Ride Competition is held at the Pony Club National Championships each August, although during covid it took place online.
The Burton have previously done a ‘Disney through the ages’ routine and our Elton John themed ‘Rocket Man’.
The musical ride is great fun, we train throughout the summer to produce our routine.
