Dismounted Rally – Mucking Out Badge

Lovely afternoon at our dismounted rally learning all about mucking out.

We did an experiment with straw, paper, card and shavings bedding to test absorbency.

Tried and talked about different tools and methods of mucking out.

Discussed the health, environmental and economical pros and cons of bedding, stabling and poo picking.
