And a fantastic job from our youngest members – all but one having a go for the first time.
Finishing 11th & 15th in a strong event.
Lots of lovely comments about their team work and manners. Onwards & upwards minis

Well an evening of ups & downs for the quiz team!!
Some amazing rounds with 9 / 10 and some not so great. Really held their own against much older teams in a bit of a sitcom quiz.
Up in the top 5 for 3/4 of the competition but unfortunately finished 14th (we think…but it keeps on changing!).
Given their ages, that’s an amazing result. I know the team are a little disappointed but I’m immensely proud of their achievement.

Wow!!
Well, the 5.30am start was worth it!
What an incredible day for Burton at Area Show-Jumping. We may be small…but we are mighty. Finishing the day with 2 more championship qualifications to add to an already impressive count.
Katie took a fabulous 3rd place in the 80cm to qualify for the Regional Championships, while the 90cm team also managed a brilliant 3rd place to qualify for the summer Championships. The teams in the top 4 all finished on equal faults and were only separated by time.
Extra big shout out to Helena who finished 5th individually having jumped 3 fantastic clears.
Well done also to Freddie & Molly who represented the branch at 80cm & 1m.
Thank you to Jo for all your hard work getting the team training organised and to Dale for his team training and being there today for last-minute help & advice.

Saturday 16th – Sunday 17th July – AREA EVENTING

Hosted by Cottesmore

Burton was represented at Area Eventing by Lilly in PC90 and Molly, Katie & Beth in PC80.
It was a little warm but the event was superbly run by the Cottesmore with good ground on both course and arenas
With a great dressage score and double clear Lilly and Golden Honey made it to the top spot in their section securing them a place at the Pony Club Championships. So that’s a hat trick for this combination going to champs in 3 disciplines.
The 80 team had some super rounds, a great experience for them as it was their first time at Area Eventing with Beth and Katie gaining a place at the Regional Championships. This was another hattrick for the branch as Katie has now qualified for the Regional Champs in all three disciplines.
Well Done All!

Exciting weekend for Burton at Mounted Games Zone Finals.
The Senior Team came 8th, qualifying for the Intermediate Championships. Well done!!
Two pairs competed but although they had some great runs, they didn’t qualify for Champs this time. Everyone showed great camaraderie for each other and friends in other branches.
And a 3rd in the Tack & Turnout.
Always proud to be part of Burton PC!
Big thank you to our trainer, Dianne Finnegan who is always so committed to games success for Burton members.
