Burton was well represented at the Spring Festival Area 6 Dressage Qualifier with some great riding from Beth, Hannah and Lilly!
Congratulations to Hannah in the PC80 Grassroots, she won her section with Tia Maria and Lilly with Golden Honey who came 2nd in the Novice both qualifying for the Championships!

Well done Burton today at the Spring Festival Show jumping Qualifier. Hannah, Sophie, Beth, Layla and Freddie rode fantastic today. Sophie came 5th in the 70 jumping clear with Freddie coming 8th jumping clear also. 2 lovely clear rounds from Layla in the 80 and 90., finishing overall 7th in the 90 class. Hannah also jumping clear 80.
Once again thank you to the mini mascot Emily-Rose.
Good news! Layla and ebony been given a qualification as someone can’t go and they next in line.

Very well done to our Mini Quiz team, 7th place today at Area 6 qualifier- great effort with wonderful teamwork. Very proud of you all.
A fantastic afternoon for our Junior/Senior quiz teams too! A brilliant score for our intro team of Erin, Jessica and Pippa – a team of just 3 members against all other teams of 4 with 2 of the 3 in this team brand new to quiz!
Then Georgia, Beth, Sophie and Elly earning themselves a qualification spot at championships gaining 4th place out of 29 teams. Brilliant job girls, so proud of everyone!!

What a fabulous day for our games riders yesterday. The Senior team came a nail bitingly close 2nd to South Notts and qualified for zones then the pairs took the win with Freddie and Layla and a 3rd for Annabel and Nina also qualifying both pairs for zones! We also had a mixed Novice team with Holly and Emily Rose and their two new friends from the grove that came 4th and had lots of fun. Well done to everyone that made the competition possible.

Congratulations to all our wonderful member’s and their superb horses and ponies who represented the branch today. In very hot conditions members produced some great tests at the Area 6 team and individual Dressage Qualifiers held by the Blankney Hunt Pony Club at Norton Disney. Fantastic results so far at the Pony Club Area 6 Show Jumping Qualifier for Burton members Molly and Chloe.
Molly rode 2 super clear rounds to finish 3rd in the PC100 and has qualified for the Pony Club National Championships.
Chloe had a beautiful double clear to finish 4th and qualify for the Pony Club Regional Championships.

Area Eventing had two of our members competing at 90cm. Molly B did a superb double clear to come 5th and qualify for the National Championships.
Olivia P did a super dressage test and a clear cross country but the slippy wet ground was her nemesis with some poles down but still getting a credible 9th place. Well done to both of you in awful weather

Congratulations to our games riders who competed at the central zones today.
Annabel and Nina qualified for the pairs competition at the National Championships.
The senior team comprising of Nina, Freddie, Sophie, Layla and Miles came an impressive second in the turnout. They then battled on, joined by Annabel after poor Pippin and Freddie fell before the competition had even begun and completed every race. Wishing Freddie a speedy recovery.

Ollie and Flicka have had a great time at champs playing with 2 Irish players who have never played together before. They came 3rd in the tack and turnout and got on the podium to take 3rd place in the open juniors out of 6 teams.
