About the Cumberland Foxhounds

The Cumberland Foxhounds branch was established in 1957 and is part of Area 2.

Our members are from West Cumbria, the Lake District and the Eden Valley. At present we have around 20 members. We hold regular working rallies throughout the year in all disciplines at a variety of venues both indoors and outdoors.

We hold our own competitions throughout the year ranging from Closed Members Fun Days to large Open Shows with a full range of Show Jumping, Equitation, Games, Working Hunter and Dressage classes . We hold a Mini camp in July for our younger members and a residential Camp for the seniors in August. The season finishes with the end of season party and presentation evening.

Thinking of/How to Join Pony Club & Taster Rallies

If you have ever wondered what Pony Club is like and you would like to give it a try, we offer the chance to non members to attend two Taster Rallies as a newcomer.

Cumberland Foxhounds are a small friendly club and would love to hear from you if you want to come and give things a try!
You can chose any rallies or activities to join in as your Taster Days.
Have a look at the Rallies & PC Events pages to see what’s on.
Once you have chosen, please contact us via the Cumberland Foxhounds Pony Club Facebook page or email cumberlandfoxhounds@pcuk.org to express your interest.

If you’d like to join The Pony Club, we first need to find out which type of membership would be best for you.
