Cumberland Foxhounds Mini Team Shine at Pony Club Quiz Championships 2026

Cumberland Foxhounds Pony Club is celebrating a fantastic achievement after its Mini Quiz Team qualified for the Pony Club Quiz Championships 2026.

The team, made up of Joanna Litt, Ellie Hope, Evie Davies and Olivia Donaldson, first took part in the Area 2 Pony Club Quiz in March, where they came an impressive 2nd place against more than ten teams. Their strong result secured them a place at the national Pony Club Quiz Championships, held in April in Loughborough.

The four girls made the special trip down to the Championships, staying nearby the night before so they were ready for the big day. The quiz itself lasted just under two hours, with 37 teams taking part from across the country. Cumberland Foxhounds finished in a very respectable 16th place, a brilliant result for the branch and the young team.

Their success was the result of weeks and weeks of hard work. Joanna, Ellie, Evie and Olivia met up weekly to practise all parts of the quiz, showing real commitment, teamwork and determination throughout their preparation.

Representing Cumberland Foxhounds Pony Club at championship level is a huge achievement, and the branch is incredibly proud of the team for all their effort, enthusiasm and excellent result.
