Cumberland Foxhounds Teams Shine at Area 2 Horse & Pony Care Competition 2026

Cumberland Foxhounds Pony Club enjoyed a fantastic day at the Pony Club Horsemanship Area 2 Horse & Pony Care Competition in April.

Held at Murton Equestrian Centre, the competition brought together teams from across the area to test their horse and pony care knowledge, practical skills and teamwork.

Cumberland Foxhounds was proudly represented by both a Mini team and a Junior team, with both achieving brilliant results on the day.

The Mini team did exceptionally well, finishing in 3rd place and qualifying for this year’s Championships — a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for the branch.

The Junior team also put in a strong performance, earning a brilliant 2nd place in their section.

A huge thank you goes to Murton Equestrian Centre for doing such a fantastic job of organising and hosting the competition.

Well done to all of our members who took part. Their hard work, practice and commitment certainly paid off, and they represented Cumberland Foxhounds Pony Club brilliantly.
