Eventing gives Pony Club Members a competition which needs courage, determination and all-round riding ability combined with the careful and systematic training of the horse. It involves working with your pony/horse both on the flat and over jumps.

Eventing is split into three phases: Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country.

In winter months there are Arena Eventing competitions which consist of jumping a course of show jumps immediately followed by a course of cross country style and rustic fences (some fixed). Part of the course will usually be timed.
