Younger members are also welcome and encouraged to join in with Pony Club Teams if they would like to. We have had 3 and 4 year old members on Mounted Games, Tetrathlon (TET) and Show Jumping teams.
We are proud to be an inclusive, fun Pony Club Branch and welcome members from 3 years old. We run some events and activities purely or our younger and/or less experienced members, which focus on having fun in a relaxed environment. Through these fun events, children develop confidence and balance without even realising they are learning.
Mini Clinics are held throughout the year and geared towards our younger members or very novice riders on or ‘just-off-lead-rein’. They consist of a general riding lesson, sometimes followed by a stable management badge – we also have additional farm hacks, FUNdays in school holidays, an Easter Egg Hunt and a Christmas Pony Party. We are always open to welcoming new ideas from members for other fun things to do.
During the summer months we have weekly Rallies in our Pony Club Field at Montague, Hankham as well as Camp.
