EntryMaster and Confirmation emails

Recently we had a parent that was not recieving emailed information from the organisers when those emails were sent from EntryMaster. Investigation revealed that the parent had checked the “Unsubscribe” box. Doing this will prevent organisers updates and emails reaching you.

Please ensure that you are “Subscribed” and if anyone has inadvertently “Unsubscribed”, please let Fred know by email on support@fndponyclub.org.uk.

Flint & Denbigh Winter League Dressage – Entries Open

Please get your entries in ASAP!

Our Winter League Dressage Competition is taking place on Sunday 2nd November 2025 at Northop College. There are classes from Walk Trot to Open. A great opportunity for all to practice their dressage ready for more dressage and/or eventing in the summer.

The entries are closing a bit earlier than normal one week before the competition so please get your entries in early to help the organisers plan the day.

Once you have entered, let Rebecca Miller know so that she can add you to a Flint and Denbigh team.

Winter League Show Jumping – Entries Open

The Winter League Show Jumping schedule is out and entries are open on Entrymaster. This year the event will take place at Northop College on Sunday 16th November. This is a great opportunity for members to take part in Winter League Show Jumping once again or for the first time as it’s so close to home. There are classes from 50cm all the way to 1m.

Once you have entered please let Mari know which classes so she can include you in a team. There is no team competition for the 50cm but there is for all the others.

The entries will be closing at midnight on the Sunday before the competition which is a little earlier than normal.

As we are hosting this competition we will be asking for volunteers to help. We will need many on the day and a small group the evening before to help course build. As usual, many hands make light work, can you please let Ruth (07796 698497) or Bethan (DC) know if you can help. Experience isn’t necessary as we can give you a full briefing and allocate a suitable role. We will do a rota for the day so even if you can spare an hour or so it will be very helpful. We all know how much our children get from these competitions running through the year, this time it’s our turn to give our time.

Winter League Show Jumping – Results

Sunday morning all the Flint & Denbigh show jumpers set off for Somerford Park for the East Cheshire WL. It was a great day for Flint & Denbigh with 3 team wins over 3 classes. We had a great turnout of members competing from the 40cm class all the way up to the 90cm class. All the members and ponies looked very smart and professional.

A lot of our members stepped up a class height this week. With the course full up and built to make riders think, it was definitely a new challenge for our riders. However, everyone rode with determination and skill and did very well. It is always a pleasure to be with the F&D team as they support each other and to see them all progress from competition to competition. A lot of chocolate was won and fun had with friends and ponies.
