The pony club award efficiency badges and certificates to members upon completion of their riding and stable management tests.
For the younger members we have the published books featuring quizzes, drawings, information and preparation for the members to practice each stage of pony care and stable management, with the test included at camp.
Please contact Andrea for the training opportunities and test dates that are coming up soon. Groups of four are usually assessed for both the ridden and stable management aspects together. They can be taken together or individually and a part award can be achieved.
The grove are pleased to announce we are the Area 6 leaders for the C and C+ tests at Howard’s equestrian offering full range of ridden arena skills and XC course on site with separate assessors.

Test Levels
The standard progression of tests is as follows:
E Test – Entry-level, introducing basic care and riding skills.
D and D+ Tests – Focus on foundational riding and horse care knowledge.
C and C+ Tests – Intermediate level; Care and Riding sections can be taken separately or together.
B Test and B+ Test – Advanced skills in riding and horse management.
Lungeing Test – Assesses ability to safely lunge a horse.
A Test and AH Test – Highest levels, covering comprehensive riding and horsemanship skills, with AH Test including up to 8 sections
