Branch AGM & Presentation Evening 2023

On the 10th February 2024, we held both our AGM and Annual Presentation together.

During our AGM, DC Louise Powell and our treasurer Sue Jones, updated members on activity thoughout the year, finances and all important plans for the 2024 season.

The committee said thanks to Claire Bradley who is stepping down as Show Jumping Team Manager for this season but she will remain on the committee and when she has less outside commitments no doubt we will be able to find her another role! Don’t worry about that Claire ha ha!

Special thanks to Claire Wall who will be staying on as Pony Care Team Manager but will be stepping back from her stable management role.  For many years now, Claire Wall has run our stable management sessions but with grown up children and no small ponies is unable to continue running them.

The committe and members welcomed Ruth Smith as Show Jumping Team Manager and in true Pony Club style, straight in at the deep end with the first competition at Rodbaston in 2 days! Welcome aboard Ruth.

A special welcome to Archie, son of Chief Instructor Rosie & Andrew, who will no doubt will be a new member as soon as he is old enough and as well as being taught by mummy will also be coached by cousin Olivia.

Onto the annual presentation evening and there were lots of winners in attendance along with their families and it was great to see more than 95 people.

DC Louise works tirelessly in the lead up to presentation evening preparing our Off The Hoof magazine detailing everyones achievenents and does a great job of preparing a slide show of memories from the year including shows, rallies, junior camp, senior camp and championships.  Its great to watch back and is a super way to get motivated for the season ahead when its so wet and muddy outside.

A huge thank you to Louise, Jean, The Parents Commitee, Claire Bradley, Claire Wall & the rest of the committee but most of all thank you to the members and parents for another fantastic year.
