The Meynell Hunt Branch was established in 1929 and is part of Pony Club Area 6 

 

Welcome to our Website.  We regularly update our pages with all the information you need to be part of our Club. Please use the navigation tabs on the lefthand side of the page for more information. You can also follow us on facebook.

Do you know you can view the Area 6 Website to see what activities are being held  in our Area by clicking http://branches.pcuk.org/area6  Also it  now has a Facebook Page for its’ branch members,  it can found under the title of Pony Club Area 6 Branch Members. This will be used very much as an information mouthpiece for Area 6  and not a forum for discussion or advertisements.  We regularly add Schedules from other Pony Clubs in the Area to our Schedules Tab.

Eligibility Rules for those wishing to compete at area events is that members must have completed a minimum of three rallies (camp counts as one) between 1st July 2017 30th June, 2018.  If you wish to take part in area teams and you do not meet this criteria, there are still rallies available to attend over the next few weeks.  Further Rules for area competitions can be found on the Tab on the lefthand side of the website
Please remember that a new rule this year for Area competitions is that
your horse must have a valid passport & vaccination record, this must
accompany them to all events in case of inspection. Please get in touch
if you have any queries regarding this!

A Little Reminder…..

Please respect peoples property when you are at any Pony Club activity.

Please behave in an appropriate manner – don’t run, roll, jump across,
swing over & under lawns, equipment, property that isn’t your own.

Please clear up after your pony, children and dogs! Do not distract the
ride that is taking place.

People very kindly offer their property for various activities, free of
charge, to keep your cost down – DO NOT ABUSE IT.

Lots of Clinics and Rallies have been added to our online booking system.  Something for everyone.  Check out our DIARY DATES page to see what you might like to attend,  Examples are  Flatwork with Fleur Field at Scropton, Flatwork and Jumping with Val Brown at Scropton, Dressage with Emily Perry, XC with Amelia Morris Payne.  

 

 

 

SCHEDULES FROM OTHER PONY CLUBS IN OUR AREA ARE ADDED TO THE SCHEDULES TAB ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE.  THESE ARE ADDED AT REGULAR INTERVALS AS WE RECEIVE THEM ALWAYS WORTH A LOOK TO SEE IF THERE IS ANYTHING OF INTEREST

Important  Information:

 As you are no doubt aware the Pony Club is subject to strict rules and regulations in particular to Health & Safety.  May we please remind all our members, rally organisers, and parents that it vital that MHPC comply with the Pony Club Rules.  A  full copy of which can be obtaining by clicking on the link.  Rules_2014_pages_21_-_66  We are particularly at risk in relation to working rallies.  Thank you all for your co-operation and support with this matter. 
 
 II. Working Rallies
 Rallies must be advertised at least seven days prior to the date of the rally, and organised by Branch Committees. Nobody can hold a Rally or give Instruction at a Rally unless authorised by the District Commissioner.
