You need to know this!

Christmas Show Jumping at Walford on Sunday 15 December starting at 10am prompt.
Please park close together and do not tie up outside your lorry/trailer as parking might be tight. The outdoor school will be available for you to work in/wait your turn however members are parents responsibility whilst they are in there. Feel free to decorate riders and ponies (as long as it’s safe to do so!). The classes will run as single phase i.e. the course is divided into two sections – untimed for the first few fences and then timed for the final part. Unless eliminated, everyone jumps both parts and the faults are added together. The time is then used should there be a tie. There will be an unmounted prizegiving after each class (1a & 1b will be together as will 3a/3b/3c). There will be hot drinks (please bring your own mugs), squash and mince pies available.

Election of Committee Member for North Shropshire Pony Club

Members of the committee serve for a period of three years. In accordance with the rules of the Pony Club, when a committee member has completed their three year term they should either be re-elected or resign at the end of the year. This year we have four committee members who are in this position, 3 of whom have been re-elected from 1st January, 2025 but Vicky will not be continuing. The process requires that we advertise this position and anyone wishing to put themselves forward for election must do so (with a seconder), in writing to Ann Gregory, by 1st December 2024. The committee will then hold a secret vote at a committee meeting early in the New Year, to decide which of the new nominees will be elected.

To help the committee vote, anyone wanting to stand for election is asked to include a paragraph or two (not more than 100 words) explaining why they would like to join the committee and what skills/experience they feel they could bring. Please use this nomination form.

Body Protectors Area 7  has confirmed that up to date body protectors must be worn for all XC and Arena XC jumping. However, if members wish to wear body protectors for rallies/show jumping or other activities that the Pony Club rules do not require body protectors to be worn for, they do not need to be of the latest standard, purple labels will still be allowed.
