The Forecast for rallies and events up March 2026 is now available
Here is the Schedule for our Easter Show on Thursday 9th April at Radford’s which is now open on Entrymaster. Jumping classes from lead rein cross poles to 1m and dressage classes from lead rein walk trot to PC90. There is also the Easter Bonnet competition. Something for everyone so come along and have fun.
We’re holding a Dry Try on Sunday 29th March at Radford’s. Ride, Shoot and Run but no Swim. A friendly dry triathlon for everyone to help get ready for the tetrathlon season. Technical lines for 80cm and over. Novice classes will be split if necessary, so if you want to jump lower than the novice height for your age, please state the height you wish to jump on the entry form. Younger competitors can have assistance/be on the lead rein. Wrinklie class – can be a different person for each phase!
Body Protectors Area 7 has confirmed that up to date body protectors must be worn for all XC and Arena XC jumping. However, if members wish to wear body protectors for rallies/show jumping or other activities that the Pony Club rules do not require body protectors to be worn for, they do not need to be of the latest standard, purple labels will still be allowed.
There has been an update from HQ on the type of stirrups that are not allowed to be used in Show Jumping which also applies to all Working Rallies or where show jump style fences may be used. For the avoidance of doubt, at Pony Club events:
▶ Stirrups which connect the boot and the stirrup magnetically are not allowed
▶ Interlocking boot soles and stirrup treads are not allowed
▶ Cage stirrups are not allowed
▶ Composite matrix stirrup treads or similar are not allowed
